hi guys!!!
i've tried to import a fifa06 stadium in the 07 demo, and the result is this: we need a stadium converter, or a new version of oiftool\stadium builder
i hope that you will find out the time to create it, all the world's stadium makers depend on you. thanks

I`ve sucessed to import stadium in FIFA Demo .I think that the o files are the same like in FIFA 06.Only the textures was missing,but this is couse of fsh. structure for Emirates stadium(there is only two tp..)

i think, fifa 07 stadium file have other format
they not have field

but from the other side, emirates stadium from fifa 07 work in fifa 06 perfect..only with black field

I think also that in 07 will be possible to import new stadium,with no need of repleacing the existing stadiums .I`ve succesd with that in Fifa o7 demo .I`ve problems only with missing textures,but o. file are ok

thay are in 3 and 4 - m716__156_1.o and t226__156_1.fsh,where red number are stadium ID.I import my Upton Park with new ID (3),with UniDB I ad where is need this stad. ID with the stadium name ,after that I add o. file(m716__3_1.o) and fsh. file (t226__3_1.fsh) in zdata 3 and 4 and I was have compleatly new stadium in FIFA 07 demo.I still have problems with missing texture,but I think that this will be sloved

i tried to import my own stadium, and i gave it the id-1000, but i also have the texture problem....

i think we will need to wait to hear Arushan or Schwenker....

Ok we are currently working hard on the new things but as far as I can tell you things are looking really good for FIFA 07 !

Some facts:
- ATTENTION: We will be able to ADD stadiums WITHOUT REPLACING others ...
- It is probably not possible to use FIFA 06 o and fsh files directly for FIFA 07. Structure can be imported, but textures are not shown (although there is no "missing texture" on the textures).
- This means we'll have to convert the stadiums like we did from FIFA 2004 to FIFA 06. This is not too much work. Now we'll have to wait for the full version for a good template.
- As it looks EA didn't change the fsh (and probably the o) file of our FIFA 06 template (St James) which was very good because of it's many parts. If everything is alright we will use this one for FIFA 07 again.
- EA is using a new naming system for their files. For the stadiums this means that the stadium ID is always in the stadium name, making it VERY easy to find every stadium file you need

- We have many things planned and are working on many already, so stay tuned, if we don't have too many problems it will be a quite nice year for all of us

please convert the old Highbury to FIFA2007, because it is a great stadium and if there would not be the texture from Arsenal we could use it for a differen club.

Schwenker does this mean EA got rid of the pesky bescene.cs file? and add it's contents directly in the database? I'm sorry I haven't downloaded the demo yet so I can't verify for myself, I will get the full game though.

No they still have the bescene file but as the naming system of the files is variable you can add them to the db without editing bescene file

Maybe aru can explain a bit more here

Lighting is a simple txt file that can just be edited with notepad. You can probabbly use oedit or something to get the position, etc.

FAQ:
In this screen there is the pitch...why?
Because i can't edit shadow(this stadium is for fifa 06)..so i've created a mesh with turf and shadow ..in fifa 06 however i've moved the lines of play(linee di gioco..come si dice in inglese?) this way the mesh and the lines don't overlap

ehehe i'm not very very expert..

the oif tool 2006 is semi-compatible with fifa 2007..so i think we will need a little fix for oif tool 2006

Yes you will need a new version, I think it should be out soon after the release of the full version.
But first we'll have to create a template for the FIFA 07 stadiums.

The current one does only work with structure I think, not with the textures.

Why is it too large? The size of the pitch hasn't changed ?

The only thing that could be different are the positions of the adboads, but as you can replace every stadium (FIFA 06), there will be always a different position where the ball bounces off.

And you can scale the oif models in Stadium Builder so there should be still no problem to convert them to FIFA 07
