I have an Idea,
Can the stadium makers who have been there and done that make a thread which gives a detailed step-by-step guide to building stadia for people who want to build stadia but can't do it yet?

Maybe it should be aimed at people with basic knowledge of Rhino or other 3D modelling software.

let's continue with the basic building guides. This time we are going to try to answer a question asked by rabcp:
QUOTE
Theres one part I cant figure out how do I leave a gap in the stand for an exit?

However, before we start we must do one thing which we should have done before. LAYERS!!!
Layers are important and at the same time help us keep things orginized.
We should have layers for each parts of the stadiums that we build, ie: fance, addbords, seats, roof etc.
To create a layer go to the red, white & blue pie just obove the prospective view
(IMG:http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/82/st4.jpg)
this will open the layers box, asingh desired layers.
(IMG:http://img22.imageshack.us/img22/3865/946.jpg)

I will post the gap in the stands in the next post.

Now that we have layers and we added desireid layers, hide the layers that will be in our way, such as benches, baners etc.
To do that, just click on the lightbulb in the layers box (IMG:http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/1830/18s.jpg)

The next step is going to be on how to create an entrance.
The red line will represent where the players will run into the feild so we have to work around that area.
First delite whatever meshes you dont want around the entry point.
(IMG:http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/7349/3997.jpg)
and start adding meshes in between the spaces.

and this is what I've got in the end

maybe i can sort of include it in the next version of sb as an "alternative" tutorial section, or add it onto the one in there, if there is a new version of sb.

Only if u want to tho :)

PluMe does your PC slow down after a while when building your stadium, I dont do your method, when I try to build, it takes up all the resources up. It takes very long to zoom.

Help !!

you can add transperance to the textures by clicking Objects Properties & in transperancy I added 50. however, this makes no diference, cause later on in stadium importing the transparency will be added in the fsh8 file.

@ CeeBee:

I would love to help you out but I can't :( . Take a look at my earlier threads and see what hapens when I import them to fifa. Till I figure out what is wrong with my stadium builder or packer (rhino is aparently ok), I won't do any more.
